The dam was being concreted in treble shift in order not to waste even an hour. The works didn’t stop even in winter. One of the main troubles was the training of personnel. The courses of operators were being opened. After a hard working day the workers turned to textbooks and notes. Finally, on August, 1939 the first and the largest turbo generator in the country with a capacity of 100 thousands kilowatts gave the industrial current.
